FAQsWhere is the French section of ArtsLink NB? ArtsLink NB is primarily an anglophone group. We are working in cooperation with the strong Acadian artists organization, l’AAAPNB, www.aaapnb.ca/aaapnb/index.cfm. L'AAAPNB has been serving professioanl Acadian Artists for 20 years, and have laid an excellent path for the anglophone arts sector to follow.
Does ArtsLink NB provide funding for artists? No, ArtsLinkNB does not offer funding to artists. ArtsLink can help you find sources of funding. Look at the Resources pages to find sources for funding. ArtsLink can also provide assistance with completion of grant applications. Contact the ArtsLink office ( info@artslinknb.com ) and we will locate a volunteer in your region who can assist you. Is ArtsLink NB the same as artsNB or the NB Arts Foundation... who are all you people anyways? ArtsLinkNB is a group of artists from all different arts disciplines- music, dance theatre, painting, literature, poetry, sculpture, media arts... the list goes on. ArtsLinkNB is the netowrk of artists, and it includes professionals, emerging and student artists and organizations Like Music NB and the NB visual Arts Educators groups. We also have non-artists involved: supporters of the arts. artsNB is a government funding body for the arts; it’s called an "arm’s length" organization, because it is funded by the government directly and has a specific government mandate, but is managed by a board of directors with government representation on that board. They have money to give to artists through project grants. click this link to find out more about the funding The NB Arts Foundation is a new charitable organization trying to raise money to help art projects in the province. They are not a collective of artists.
